I've been wearing Layla Purple Illusion since Saturday night after applying it over NFU Oh aqua base.
I've tried Layla holographic polishes in the past and was very disappointed in the wear time. With the aqua base I have one chipping, yay!
I am wearing one coat of base, which took a while to dry, two coats of polish and one coat of Nails Inc Kensington Caviar top coat.
I love holos and am delighted I got the aqua base which gives it a longer wear time.
Do you guys have any other tips for making holos longer lasting?

This is so pretty, it's next on my Layla list along with Coffee Love :) I find that top coat always dulls the effect of my Layla holos. As you know, I change my polish too often to worry about wear time, but if I wanted it to last longer, I'd apply Aqua Base, one coat of polish, one of top coat, and then a second coat of polish on top - the top layer of polish will still be as strongly holo, but the top coat sandwiched in between helps it last a bit longer and disguises any chips a little better :) xx
ReplyDeleteThat's a good idea. I'll apply another coat of polish later as I plan on keeping this beauty on as long as possible until I get bored or it does start to chip :-) x x x
